The Unicorn Rests in a Garden (1495-1505) is an iconic French and South Netherlandish textile belonging to the famous Unicorn Tapestries at The Met Cloisters. This beloved tapestry depicts a unicorn resting in a garden enclosure beneath a pomegranate tree, enveloped by a millefleurs backdrop of richly symbolic plants. Details.

The seven individual hangings known as "The Unicorn Tapestries," are among the most beautiful and complex works of art from the late Middle Ages that survive.
