Since the Sonic Colors Nintendo DS demo is getting a little more wide spread, I decided to give it a whirl.Sonic Rush's name is apt. Sonic Colors (Nintendo DS) The Nintendo DS version of Colors follows the same premise as the Wii version, but it can be considered a spiritual successor to the Sonic Rush series, with the levels being entirely side. What is your favourite game out of the three best Sonic games on the Nintendo DS? My favourite was Sonic Rush Adventure, it had a good storyline I enjoyed the races against Johnny, better bosses, graphics and it had good music.
It's also one of my favourite Sonic Games. Rush, is my second favour. For Sonic Colors on the Wii, a GameFAQs message board topic titled "Advance series VS Rush series".
I would say it would have been Rush 3 if there was a blaze mode for some reason. Might as well call Shadow the hedgehog Heroes 2 since Shadow more or less uses heroes engine and graphics. Imo if you're going to play the DS sonic games, go with rush and rush adventure.
Colors feels like a slower, easier version of them. The boost is barely any faster than his normal run speed, unlike in the rush games. Personally I can't really choose between Rush and Rush Adventure, though Colours DS is definitely at the bottom Sonic Rush is already a pretty good game, but I think Sonic Rush Adventure's levels and bosses were much improved from the first.
I can't really say it's better though just cause I disl. Sonic Rush Colors is a Japanese-American 2D platformer video game, being an installment of the Sonic the Hedgehog series. Sonic the Hedgehog must journey. While I love Colors Ds and it properly beats all of Sonic Team's attempts at the boost gameplay (and has certainly the best Wisp usage) would I still argue that Sonic Rush Adventure is the best Boost game. I already like Sonic Colors Wii.
It's not one of my favorite games, but I still think it's solid. The visuals and music are great, the story is cool in concept, the gameplay is decently fun, and I really like the Wisps. The DS version blows it out of the water, though.
Using the gameplay from Rush/Rush Adventure as a base and adding new moves.
