Beauty And The Beast 2 Fife

Fife is the former secondary antagonist (later a supporting protagonist) from Disney's 1997 animated film Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas, a midquel to the 1991 animated film Beauty and the Beast. He is one of the Beast 's servants who was turned into a piccolo by the Enchantress ' curse. The Beast saves her, but confines her to her room as punishment for leaving the castle's premises.

While Belle is comforted by the servants and Fife, Forte tempts the Beast to destroy the rose when a petal falls on the storybook that Belle made for him. After reading it, he realizes that she wants him to be happy, and agrees to celebrate Christmas. Forte: [after the flashback to the Beast's transformation] But we've come so far since then.

We've - risen above the tragedy. Beast: [growling, he knocks his chair over, wondering where Belle is] Where is sheeee? Forte: I believe she's gone to the boiler room, or - so a little birdie told me. Fife: [chuckles nervously] Tweet, tweet, tweet!

Belle prepares the castle for Christmas against Beast's wishes, trying to bring him happiness for the season. Forte, a pipe organ, fears that Belle's plans may eventually bring about an end to the curse the curse that brought him more importance in the Master's life. Forte uses Fife, a flute who desperately wants a solo, to destroy Belle's plans and get rid of her.

Beast realizes that there is hope after all and releases Belle from the dungeon. Forte however refuses to fade into the background and plays Beethoven's Fifth in an attempt to literally "bring the house down" and kill everyone inside. Fife confronts Forte and discovers that the pages to his solo were blank all along.

He was the Beast 's musician advisor and "best friend" who was transformed into a sentient pipe organ when the spell was cast upon the castle by the enchantress.
