what is the most rare e46 color? i havent seen much of thse colors on the e46 steel blue metalic, oxford green and gray green and what is the difference between jet black and black sapphire metalic? It's an especially interesting question if you're asking "rarest BMW colors" overall, not just the least common of the current F3X choices. For example, did you know that BMW has offered, at one time or another, more than 110 shades of blue alone (far more than any other hue)? Seeing the original owner thread reminded me of the rare color thread back on M3Forum. So if you have own a car with a rare color combo post some pics! In the US, Imola is probably the most rare e46 color.
That, or that puke-yellow/green one. There's somebody in my town with a Dakar yellow 330, but that's not a factory color for e46. It was a custom job.

estoril blue is a rare colour, though there is an e46 320i Individual in estoril blue for sale by a fanatic (v.r. Sexy6). Red is a colour you dont often see e46's in, especially that darker red (the one the e46 M3's came in).
