Just received a notification on the my BMW App that there is a software update pending. I'm guessing this will be OTA update. This is for a 2024 G20. Anyone here did this update? What was improved? Read about how these updates can sometimes corrupt things, delete your profile etc. Any do's and don'ts while performing the update?

My '20 M340i w/ iDrive7 (G20) would occasionally stop communicating with the My BMW app for an hour or a day or a week every few months. It was sometimes on BMW's side (per Genius calls) and the solution was to just wait a few hours/days.
