Closet Design Reddit

OP has a wonderful closet, but for those who don't have that kid of budget and to make you feel better, I designed my own walk in closet (around my clothing). It functions great and cost about $300 in materials. Does anyone have any experience with Closets by Design or Elfa? My rack and shelving fell down last night.

I'm looking for some company that can do the work. It's a small, reach-in closet, in a very small apartment. Any thoughts, ideas, recommendations and/or war stories are welcome.

Thanks. Designing closets? Does anyone have a suggestion for a free or cheap app or program that I can use to design a brand new walk in closet? What custom closet companies will you guys recommend or have used before? I'm looking to remodel my primary walk in closet. The quote by Closets by Design (Jacksonville, FL) was $3100 for just the master closet. We are at least trying to get both the kitchen pantry and master closet for $3100.
