Our elite team of engineers have spent years designing, refining & developing the Vyper Chair. I wouldn't pay that much for a shop chair for myself because I'm a weekend warrior. If I worked in a shop or even spent more than an average amount of time in one as a hobbyist, I would try the chair.

If it has a warranty, even better. I have the real vyper chair and it's awesome. It's one of the few really premium items I decided to bite the bullet on, most of the other items I have are HF, used or some combination of the two.

The chair is really nice though. In retrospect I think I would probably get the icon stool but it wasn't out at the time I got my vyper. So Vyper Chair's Elevated Steel Max was a welcome addition to the shop.
