The idea. A small car. With a big heart.
In 2002, under the leadership of Zoran Zorneke, the first car boasting G-POWER HURRICANE character was presented to the tuning world: the G-POWER G3M CSL E46, with a 5.0L V10 S85B50 from the BMW M5 E60 and a performance enhancement up to 530 hp. German tuning shop G-POWER is saying goodbye to the current generation F90 M5 with a new product. Dubbed G5M Hurricane RR, this tuned up M5 now makes 900 horsepower and a maximum torque of 1,050.
G-Power converted this car to a "Hurricane RR". Thanks to two superchargers (compressors that are much like Prochargers) it now has a power output of 850hp to the rear wheels! In addition, the G-POWER BI-compressor system (taken from the G-POWER M5 HURRICANE RR world-record vehicle) was developed one stage further and at the same time the cubic capacity of the BMW V10 power unit was increased from 5.0 to 5.5 litres.
German tuning company G-Power, which is well known for making a killer twin-supercharger kit for the E60 BMW M5, has turned out another BMW M5 that may hold up to be the world's fastest sedan. The G-Power M5 Hurricane RR is not one of those cars. It doesn't need to shout about anything.
Apart from the carbon wrap, the minor body kit and the 20. G-POWER M5 HURRICANE Touring 820 PS G-POWER is celebrating 30 years of "first class performance' - new 'RR' version for the BMW M5/M6 Bi. It can catapult the G-Power BMW M5 Hurricane RR Touring to 362 km/h (225 mph).
The same powertrain in the M5 E60 (Sedan) is capable of doing 372,1 km/h (231 mph). The RR, however, is expected to go even harder and faster than this; one question does arise from this: Can the RR beat the old G-Power E60 M5, which topped 231 mph?
