Toyota Alphard Jacking Points
The 4 jack points on our Alphard are on each sill, to the rear of the front wheels and to the front of the rear wheels. I had to change a wheel at the roadside after a puncture on the first long trip out - found it hard work using the standard jack because of the additional weight of the campervan conversion, so decided to add a hydraulic jack. The factory jack has 2 jacking point for the front wheels change.
I understand the second one, the diagram is clear, however the first one is not so clear. There is a spring on the picture on the diagram close to the jacking point, but I have the hydraulic suspension, so no sire if there are. A cars jacking point can easily be damaged.
Here I repair my jacking point which was bent on both sides of the car. The damaged pinch welds if not repaired can rust quickly. I repair the damaged.
Hi everyone! Can someone show me the safe jack points, front, rear and side of a Toyota Alphard 2005 model. Thank you in advance! So I want to make up some rubber/nylon adapters for the tops of my jack stands, and have the vehicle then supported via pinch weld seams.
Do the adapters need to support the seam as well as land on the seam's upper rocker panel (3 point landing), or will the thin leading edge of the actual seam. Look for your car's jacking point. This point will be marked with some arrows or some reliefs.
They are generally in the chassis under the doors. Check your Alphard's owner's manual to make sure that you have found the right spot. If you place the jack in the wrong place, you may dent your car's bodywork.
