+1.5 damage. +2 luck. Dim Bulb is more than twice as powerful as Vibrant Bulb; however, its effects are active less frequently.
However, 1 room charge items can. Dim Bulb turns any active item into a Devil Trigger in tough rooms. I find it easier to control activations, as walking around with an unused full active item feels wasteful.

I remember prior to Repentance. Dim Bulb plus an Active Item without a charge bar synergized well. But I was holding the Dim Bulb and bought Sharp Key.
