- Easy Application: The paint has a self-levelling formula, making it easy to apply and ensuring a smooth, even finish.
- Quick Drying: It dries quickly, allowing you to use your garage space sooner rather than later.
- Slip-Resistant: The paint provides a slip-resistant surface, enhancing safety in your garage.
- Wide Range of Colors: While we're focusing on the grey variant, B&q offers a variety of colors to suit your preference.
Preparation and Application
Preparing your garage floor and applying the paint correctly are crucial for a successful outcome. Here's a step-by-step guide:
Preparation
- Ensure the floor is clean, dry, and free from any contaminants. Use a degreaser if necessary.
- Repair any cracks or holes in the concrete using a suitable filler.
- Lightly sand the floor to improve paint adhesion, then vacuum and wipe clean.
- Allow the floor to dry completely before painting.
Application
- Ensure the temperature is between 10°C and 30°C and the humidity is below 85%.
- Stir the paint thoroughly and pour it into a paint tray.
- Using a medium nap roller, apply the paint in 3-4 meter square sections, working backwards to avoid leaving visible roller marks.
- Allow the first coat to dry for at least 4 hours, then apply a second coat. For best results, apply a third coat after another 4 hours.
- Allow the paint to cure for at least 72 hours before using the garage.
