Allyra Extendable Round Solid Wood Base Dining Table (same potential criticism with this one) I've looked at and considered the tables with a single center pole/post, but they seem precarious and don't inspire confidence in stability to me. Found a solid walnut drop leaf table at a yard sale today for only $5, originally 10 but the seller said they'd do 5 before I even made an offer. At $5 it could be broken and coming apart at the seams and still be worth it for the material alone.

Can anyone advise on extendable dining tables? I'm looking for something which can either attach to my wall or extend laterally from some kind of standing cabinet. I found some stuff from Chinese retailers but they look like a scam. Any cool ideas here? The space in the attached image is about 8x8' and the lowest shelf is about 4'5".
