We renamed it ZFEST. The Z3 Homecoming turned into an annual event, renamed the Roadster Homecoming in 2003, when the Z3 was superseded by the Z4 roadster. Well before the last event in 2012, it had become so popular that attendance was capped at 600 cars, and tickets sold out within minutes.

ZFEST began in 2009 after BMW ended production of the Z4 at Plant Spartanburg, SC which brought the "BMW Roadster Homecoming" event to an end after 12 great years. In 2009 we held the event near Cincinnati, Ohio 2010 brought ZFEST to Valencia, California. In 2011,2012 and 2013 the event returned to its "Homecoming" roots in Greenville, South.

The Nittany Z's started out as a collection of BMW Z3 and Z4 owners from various parts of the country who met at BMW Roadster Homecoming. The core of our group is based in Central Pennsylvania, we get together for drives and adventures in the area including the Horseshoe Curve, PA Little Grand Canyon, Flight 93 Memorial and many more.
