Chaos Dwarfs Colors
The purple and yellow is the colour of the default chaos dwarf faction (similar to the black banner with skull default Empire faction). I keep running into them playing with a caravan mod and i have to say they look incredible, especially infernal guard. Certain colours are most commonly associated with some races, such as white and blue for high elves, black, gold and red for chaos dwarfs and green or brown with nurgle.
Looking up well painted dark elves, space Orks or humans online can be a good place to get colour schemes from. Shub-Nullgurath: I've got a couple of Russian Alternative big axes and some Forgeworld daemonsmiths that I've started to assemble but I'm being very indecisive about what colour scheme to paint them. I'm torn between: Pale skin, aged bronze, light teal armour plates (inspired by the amazing Taming of the Wildman miniature paintjob) Grey-ish skin, gold metal, purple armour plates.

The best colours I've ever seen on chaos dwarves gave them fiery orange-red beards (like slayers) with red trimmed black armour to offset the bright beards. To tie the whole thing together, the hobgoblins got fairly drab earth tone clothing (they are slaves after all) but their hats where orangy yellow to tie in with the warm colours in the beards and trim of the chaos dwarves. I could use some advice on the color scheme of the upcoming Legion of Jaskorh.

As all proper Dwarfs, Chaos Dwarfs are like 90% armour and beard, I like that. For the beards I will go with the classic black, the skin will be a pale greenish-grey. The main armour color shall be copper, with brass and/or bronze highlights.
The Chaos Dwarfs are the worst traits -- the greed, violent hatreds and evil obsessions -- of the Dwarf race given physical form, as exposure to the power of Chaos slowly mutates even the notoriously resilient Dwarfen physiology, inflicting twisted terrors on their minds and souls so that they have become a spite.
