As many of us already know, this is the newest worker-placement and set collection game brought to us by the Alchemists down at CA, whose previous offering. Critter Kitchen is a simultaneous worker placement game played over seven rounds. It will have players gaining ingredients from several locations in preparation for creating three dishes; twice in the game and a final seven.

From Cardboard Alchemy comes a brand new, lighthearted game called Critter Kitchen, with Sandara Tang illustrating the game again.

The designer is different, but overall the game feels thematically and stylistically similar enough to call it a "sequel" to the aforementioned game. Critter Kitchen is part simultaneous. Critter Kitchen's desperate scrabbling for ingredients and quick-fire pace make it fun to play, but it's a little too convoluted for neophyte gamers, and it's a little on the light side to.

Critter Kitchen is a restaurant-themed board game features animal versions of several celebrity chefs (including Bobcat Flay, Guy Beari, and Alex Guarashellfish); it's being crowdfunded with six days to go! Likely backing Nocturne because I feel like Flatout Games has had a string of really strong games that I've enjoyed a lot.
