Behaviorists For Social Responsibility

Members of this SIG use behavior analysis and related theoretical approaches to attempt to understand and provide solutions to broad societal, environmental, and global challenges. The MATRIX is an evolving document consisting of sector-specific integrated sets of hypotheses, with the goal of identifying practices that support, oppose, motivate, and select the development and utilization of scientific behavioral systems to address social and global issues. The Behaviorists for Social Responsibility (BFSR) SIG is composed of dedicated volunteers and a board of Planners (drawing on Skinners Walden Two). BFSR wants to spotlight faculty, students, researchers, practitioners, and programs that are using behavior analysis to address important social issues.
