BYERS CHOICE APPLE LADY #1 Vendor in Cries of London Series - SUPER RARE! The Apple Lady was the first of the "Cries Of London " series. She was issued only in 1991, in two versions. She is very rare.
A charming festive vintage Christmas Bryers Choice The Carolers figurine of a woman on a wooden bench with metal ornate curved ends. She is the first issue Apple Lady from 1991 (the Apple Lady with the striped stockings is more valuable than the 2nd edition Apple Lady from 1991 who has the solid red stockings). She is sitting on a wrought iron & wooden park bench (heavy piece!) with original Byers Choice Label on the bottom.
The Cries of London Series. Named for their vocal means of advertising, pictures of the "Cries of London" date back as early as the 1500's. Vintage 1991 Byers' Choice Cries of London Ltd., Caroler woman with apple crate on wood and cast iron bench.
