To prepare for studying within the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences each academic major has key foundation courses that transfer option candidates need to complete or have in progress at the time of their application. If you have questions concerning academic requirements, please contact the college or school that offered you the Transfer Option. Course eligibility will be determined after acceptance to Cornell, usually, before the student begins classes.
Please send any questions you have about the transfer process to CALS Admissions. Courses listed here can transfer for academic credit and can fulfill College Distribution Requirements. Due to first-year enrollment restrictions and the depth of the CALS applicant group, we are unable to offer admission to many applicants who have shown outstanding academic potential.
