Dw Field Park Hours
Located in Brockton and Avon this park is great for walking, running, fishing, and bicycling. Many enjoy the park early in the morning before the road is open to vehicles. Gates open at 10:00 am M-F, 12:00 noon on weekends & Holidays and close at dusk.
Park may be closed during inclement weather. The park is open from dawn to dusk, with vehicle access from 10 AM to dusk on weekdays and 12 PM to dusk on weekends. While there are no playgrounds or restrooms, it is a dog-friendly space for leashed pets.
At one end of the park is a parking lot with 2 port-a-potties. They're great if you need a bathroom break urgently, but be sure to bring some hand sanitizer with you. Our group had walkers with many different walking speeds, so we spread out into smaller groups, but never felt isolated.
D.W. Field Park consists of 650 acres of fields, woodlands, and waterways in Brockton and Avon, Massachusetts. The roadway loops around several lakes, waterfalls and ponds creating a scenic 6 mile route to enjoy by walking, biking or driving.
Book your tee time at D.W. Field Golf Course. Enjoy a historic 18-hole, par 70 course designed by Stiles and Van Kleek.

Traffic is one-way, with half of the road reserved for pedestrians and bikes. *Hours vary for lighted fields.
