While Adams High School does not have school uniforms, we do have a standard of dress. The rationale for having a dress code is that the world of work requires a certain standard of dress. Schools require a standard as well.

We are an academic institution and each students manner of dress influences the learning environment for every student. Parents may also be contacted to bring in proper uniform clothing if the dress code violation cannot be resolved on campus (e.g., if scholar refuses to wear a policy-compliant loaner uniform provided by John Adams Academy or to correct items of appearance such as addressing a disruptive hairstyle).
