Leno Labianca Grocery Store

Leno LaBianca was an American supermarket executive known for being one of the victims of the Tate-LaBianca murders carried out by members of Charles Manson's "Family" cult in August 1969. Leno LaBianca and his wife Rosemary LaBianca were victims of the Charles Manson murders. Leno was a grocery store owner, and Rosemary was also a successful business woman.

They lived in the Los Angeles suburb of Los Feliz. When his father died in September 1951, Leno became the president of Gateway and Wholesale Markets. It was during this time that he sold State Wholesale and focused on expanding Gateway Markets.

In a 197071 trial, he was convicted of ordering his followers to kill Sharon Tate, Jay Sebring, Wojciech Frykowski, Abigail Folger, Steven Parent, Rosemary LaBianca, and Leno LaBianca. By 1969 Leno and Rosemary LaBianca oversaw a mixed family that had become increasingly the norm in the United States, as attitudes about divorce shifted. Leno continued to work in the grocery industry; Rosemary co-founded a high-end clothing store.

Leno followed in his father Antonios footsteps and was the owner of a chain of grocery stores. He was made president of both his dads grocery companies after Antonio died in 1951. Leno had begun living out his life long dream of breeding and racing thoroughbred horses.

He was tired of the grocery business and was looking for a way out of his responsibilities at Gateway. On Sunday, , grocery store chain owners Leno and Rosemary LaBianca were settled in for the night after a Saturday lake trip to drop off a boat. They arrived home at around 1 a.m.
