We used the following calibration settings to test the 65-inch LG C5 OLED (OLED65C5WUA), but they're also valid for the 55 (OLED55C5WUA), 77 (OLED77C5WUA), and 83-inch (OLED83C5WUA) models. This might be a dumb question but I want to make sure I'm putting the right xbox settings for my LG. Do I put the 10 bit or 12 bit color depth? If I put it on 12 bit will it mess with the chroma? This video is for the LG C1 OLED, but most of the settings are similar to the LG C2 OLED as well.
For additional settings information, please consult the Common Problems and How to Calibrate pages. Should the color depth be set to 50 or 55 for SDR content on the C3? Several reviewers said 55 had less errors but I am not sure if it's true. What do you all use?
I have an LG C2 hooked up to my PC (3080ti) through HDMI 2.1 and NVIDIA control panel gives me the option to run 4K 120hz, RGB, 8, 10, & 12 bit. I understand that the panel is native 10bit so is there any downside/upside to leaving settings on 12bit as opposed to 10bit? Appreciate everyone's time in advance!
