Madden 20 Rebuild Stadium
At the beginning of the preseason, you select the "rebuild stadium" option, which you have done. After Week 1, I believe, "Choose stadium" becomes an option on your weekly tasks page. Been thinking about either relocating the Jets to Brooklyn and keeping their current logo and uniforms or just rebuilding their current stadium now that we can do it immediately as a coach in preseason year 1.
In Franchise mode when you rebuild/relocate into a new stadium, all the Stadium screens (Jumbotrons/ribbons/etc) display a generic,grey-scale Madden logo. This really needs to be fixed/updated. Depending on the status your Stadium is in you will have three options.
The maximum stadium rating is 99. Renovate at any time, it wont upgrade but will improve the rating of current section. Rebuild unlocked when rating is under 40/99.
Upgrade option should be unlocked at this rating as well. Relocation will be available at a rating of 20/99. If youre playing as a coach or player, you can randomly get a new stadium or be relocated.
If youre owner, you handle the relocation so its not a surprise. Anyone rebuilt their stadium yet and how did it affect your money situation and did it have any intended or unintended consequences? Well, considering I was rebuilding a team when I moved the stadium, I wasn't winning a ton and therefore my weekly income was usually minimal. I started a new Franchise as the Browns and could rebuild before the first Pre-season game against the Jags
Setting the relocation setting to Everyone Can Relocate will unlock all three options under stadium as soon as you press it. So just select it, rebuild and turn it back off instantly if you don't want anyone else to relocate. I believe that if you rebuild, ratings deteriorate faster than if your upgrade.
Still, I usually rebuild. You are allowed to go into debt for the move, but you will not be able to rebuild or upgrade your stadium until you have the funds on-hand to cover it.
