Megabus Seattle To Portland
Has Megabus stopped serving Warrington? I used to be able to get from Manchester to Warrington on Megabus and the website does say there is a route that runs twice a day but I can't actually purchase any tickets for this route or see the timetable for this route. Going one way from Chicago to Indianapolis as part of a move back to Chicago. I found a Megabus ticket for $10 and a direct flight (ORD to IND) for $90.
I have been on Greyhound before and had an awful experience, so I looked up reviews of Megabus and saw that they werent much better, averaging 1 or 2 stars, and lots of horror stories. Is it really that bad? I am trying to avoid as much as ... I took the double decker MegaBus to/from NYC this week and can save you the trouble if youre looking for inexpensive ways to travel.
Pros: The only pro is the price (about $35 each way), but if you want to sit in the upper deck front row thats an extra $10, or just near the front is an extra $5. Cons: Where to start. DC to NY
Has anyone taken Megabus recently from Toronto to Montreal? What was the experience like? Are the bad reviews true? When Megabus cut the number of runs on their bus routes, along with having a lot of bad bus riding incidents being more reported on their runs to/from Chicago, I suspected Megabus was in trouble here. I.e.
the other commenter who talked about a Chicago-Toledo bus ran where the driver overshot trying to drive to the Toledo station, and the ... Is Megabus down? Ive tried booking a trip from MD to NY for the past hour now. Everytime I enter the card details and it processes the payment it always comes out to a "You must have entered wrong billing details or incorrect card details" and then it tells me to book again.
Except the seats I reserve each time is marked sold the next time I ... I think megabus is absolutely dope really great value, always on time in my experience, and much faster than greyhound, and less stressful than flying. The Megabus station doesn't have a brick and mortar which I guess is a good and bad thing.
The reason I would take Megabus is if they happen to have cheaper tickets. Also I have found though both of their wi-fis are spotty, Greyhound's usually works better. Both buses usually have outlets to plug in electronics.
Megabus got me downtown to downtown, shaving transit and gate times, but took more like 7 hours. There was always a meal stop somewhere halfway, which was a civilized chance to stretch legs. Megabus is essentially Greyhound over here, whereas in the DC/Boston/New York grouping it's often college students and young professionals.
I took it mistakenly thinking it was going to be the fun affair it was in my many DC trips, but it was full of people with hardcore chronic coughs, drinking absurd amounts of liquor, tons of crying babies, etc.
