Prang Colored Pencils Vs Prismacolor
For colored pencils...what's your preference? I've heard good things about both. We have had a set of Prismacolors which we LOVED ... but I don't know what series they are.

The pencils don't hold a sharp tip well so are no good for fine details unless you keep sharpening them (which is wasteful), and they get used up really fast. And, to add insult to injury, if you aren't based in the US or Canada, they come with an eyewatering price tag. Prismacolor Premier would be my answer if money wasn't an issue. A much cheaper option is Crayola pencils and Walmart has larger sets of those. Also, a lot of art stores have open stock of Faber Castle if you just wanted to add a few more colors to what you already have.
