I have this issue with my Roku TV where it turns off by itself on very specific points in tv shows. Doesnt matter the app, but often when Im watching anything there comes a point where my tv will turn off and continue to turn off.
In two instances I'm successfully using TPLink Powerline adapters to hardwire the Roku devices. This is the kit I bought from cheap on Kijiji. Make sure to update firmware, if applicable, once kit is installed.
I find myself using the Roku app a lot especially for the private listening feature.
