Follow the instructions on the app to establish a Wi-Fi connection between your camera and iPhone. Once connected, you can now transfer photos and videos from your Sony a6000 camera to your iPhone. To connect the Sony A6000 to a smartphone using Wi-Fi, users need to download and install the Sony PlayMemories Mobile app on their device.
The app is available for free on the App Store (for iOS devices) and Google Play Store (for Android devices). Highlight your Wi-Fi network and select it. Type in the Wi-Fi password and select OK.
No other settings need to be set. Select OK. Wait for the Wi-Fi network to be registered then select OK.
Once connected, the Wi-Fi network will show a checkmark next to its name. Launch the Imaging Edge Mobile App: Once your phone is connected to the cameras Wi-Fi network, open the Imaging Edge Mobile app. The app should automatically detect your camera.
