It's my first job (well, internship) at a real corporate setting, and my boss is the kind of person to undermine his subordinates' position in front of their coworkers. Decide if having split days off is a deal-breaker, weigh the long-term benefits, communicate calmly with your boss about your concerns, and choose your battles wisely. Stood up to my boss today and i just started a war. I once had a boss who would accuse me of stealing from the store every time I was there for maybe 6 weeks. I'd come on Saturdays and be immediately called into his office to be confronted with something or other that he was convinced I'd stolen.
