Taco 007-f5 Making Noise
Boilers - Home Heating Steam and Hot Water Systems - Taco 007-F5 noise - I did search through other threads but didn't find the answer. The 007-F5 on my boiler was installed around 8 years ago and had been quietly doing the job. After a few weeks of use, the circulator (Taco 007 F5) leading to my indirect water heater started to make a loud buzzing sound.
The technician who did the job was more than happy to come out and change the circulator and purge my system, and the sound was gone. I've had problems with with the 007's making noise. took it right back to the warehouse and exchanged it for a different one and that fixed my problem.

A noisy Taco 007-F5 circulator usually indicates worn bearings or motor issues. When the pump stops, hot water wont circulate, causing no heat from the furnace. Now the taco cartridge circulator, model 007-F5-8IFC, is making a noise that it wasn't making before it was cleaned.
