Lucas is the first baby with down syndrome to win the contest since it started 91 years ago. This years Gerber baby is a smiley 18-month-old boy from Georgia and the first child with Down syndrome to win the contest, the company announced Wednesday. Parents can enter newborns to children up to age 4 in the photo search contest that selects a child ambassador for the brand.
Simply post a photo of your cutie to Instagram with the hashtag #GerberPhotoSearch2018 between October 1 and October 20 to join in the fun. The Gerber Baby photo contest has been going on since 2010, with a new winner chosen every year. Lucas also holds a special title as the winner of the 2018 contest.
