Whitestone Dome Glass Alternatives
Screen glass has gotten good enough that it isn't really necessary. What I would do it get one of those self healing ones, or a plastic one so that it can help dampen the impact and prevent scratches. Whitestone is typically worth the investment...
but I think the whitestone was some ~50 for the S21U when it was bought. This one on amazon is 25 for three screens. I've tried all types of glass screen protectors and found that either they don't stay put on the screen as some only have adhesive on the edges or they have dead spots etc as there's a gap...
I've used Whitestone done before and found the quality to be awesome although I thought they were a little fragile. Hopefully these hold up a little better. Please post pictures of the glass when you get it.
I've asked them last week about it to see what it looks like but they never got back to me. I will be waiting for your review as well. Anyway, as of today, I've finally given up on all tempered glass.
Alternatively I was looking into Whitestone Dome, but this thing isn't officially available here in Thailand. A cheaper alternative to Whitestone Dome Glass. Fernando Diaz 677 subscribers Subscribed
While Whitestone might be producing high quality goods, that doesn't mean they aren't coming from China... and therefore, you can definitely get the same type of quality from there too, if you look for it. You may wish to try zeelot loca glass protector, price is similar as whitedome but it's pretty good
I've had them on 3 phones and the glue has been the same and the glass the same just different shapes, all looked and acted the same when installed. I doubt they would have changed anything for this phone. There are a lot of alternative kits on ali or ebay with a tempered glass protector, uv glue and uv light for a few dollars.
There's a learning curve to gluing, so i'd consider buying more than you need.
