Likely another beat-and-raise (EPS above the $5.70–5.80 guide, FY lifted toward/above $24.15), which should drive an initial +2% pop. But shares are +25% YTD, near the top of their range, and already ran +3.3% into the print, so much is priced. The Q2 guide already embedded an atypical sequential EPS decline, and the initial Q3 guide is likely conservative/below consensus; with a tough Q2'25 comp (tariff pull-forward) capping organic upside, out-period estimates get only modestly revised up. That out-period math plus elevated valuation makes the day-1 gain partially fade, as it did after the Q1 print (656 -> low-600s). |
