The tuner started by scrapping the 850i's 5.0-liter V-12 in favor of the S62B50 V-8 engine from the BMW E39 M5. Despite losing four cylinders, the V. Rey Rivera's BMW 858 CSL took four years to convert from a humble 850i into a completely unique restomod with a stroked V10 engine.
