Bmw Z4 Track Build

This build thread is about a Z4 35i DCT I bought back in 2012 working as a foreigner in China. Over the years I have become more and more interested in cars, drifting and doing track days. This BMW Z4 M comes with all you need in a track car - great engine, near perfect weight distribution, sharp steering and handling.

Fast road / Track build by goldbcfc Thu Dec 01, 2016 4:28 pm Ive tracked a few times im my 3.0i Z4 this year was really good fun. Had 3 now the first had lowering springs was ok on track quite a lotof roll still. The 2nd had KW coilovers with pollybushes much better very stable.

The 3rd i have now just has standard sport suspension. Z4 M as track car? I'm working on an e36 S54 build but came across a good deal on a Z4M with a blown motor. Since I already have a 29k mile motor anyway I'm considering it.

What are the opinions on it as a serious track car? I would eventually want to run NASA GTS3 with it. How does it compare to the e46's? Z4 Coupe Track Build I posted some tidbits here and there about my plans for the car, but wanted to start an official build thread.

Hi guys i am preparing my roadster for being a serious track car. I will attend time attack races. My z4 m roadster weighs 1300 kg (2888 lbs).

After this point it became expensive to reduce more weight so i want a nice suspension and diff setup. 8/10 times this car will be used on track. And.
