E21 Bmw Build

Dlux BMW E21 build After searching for over 6 months, I finally picked up a 1983 BMW 320i or E21. To say I am stoked is to put it lightly. E21 track monster build by HotDogE21 Tue Jun 10, 2025 4:24 am Alright.

Here we go. Been itching to start a build thread for a long time and finally got my hands on a clean (ish) 83 320i. So far, I ripped out the old tired m10, getrag 5 speed, almost all of the interior minus the dash pad, steering wheel, and pedals.

Supposedly ran when parked (I actually believe the guy) but I coudln't get it to turn over with the starter after it was sitting for 6 or 7 years.

I'm starting my E21 project from basically scratch. Mostly making this thread so it's easier for me to keep track. Anyway the car was a real sh*t box, which i got for cheap since i did not want to cannibalize a great example for what i have planned.

Also it's quite hard to find something with a nice chassis. I guess its a bigger project than i realized but it is being done in probably record.
