Anyone used plastic shower panels rather than tiles to redo a bathroom? Looking for ways to renovate our very tired looking bathrooms without learning to tile and came across the concept of these floor to ceiling panels that you just glue onto the existing wall. Has anyone here used them? Were they easy to fit? Have they lasted? Why can't I buy shower wall panels like the ones the "1 day bath remodeler" guys use? Usa (self.HomeImprovement) submitted 4 hours ago by Altitude7199 I could remodel my bath so much faster if I could find those panels, but home Depot and Lowe's don't sell them! The panels are expensive to buy, so you're likely to pay more per square metre, but potentially save money on fitting because they are quicker to fit and you don't have to pay a tiler. For our recent bathroom, the panels we liked worked out just as expensive as buying the equivalent tiles and paying the tiler, so that's why we didn't go with it.

Would love to hear honest reviews from installers or end users of laminate or solid surface shower wall panels. Please no input from manufacturers or sales reps or infomercials either. Bath panels every time! Personally I like Multipanel including the corner trims that are available.
