The dashboard background color is one of the display settings that you can adjust in your Canvas account preferences.
In this video, I will demonstrate how to change the background colors of your Canvas pages along with adding borders and changing text backgrounds. Customize your Canvas course tiles with thousands of color options. To change the canvas color: Click the arrow next to your mural's name.
Select Mural settings. Click a Canvas color to select it. Faint white is the default.
Click Save changes. And there you have it! A brand new canvas color to work on. You can change the color to something new or back to the default at any time by repeating these steps.
Canvas gives each course in your dashboard a random background color. This article provides instructions to change the course colors in Canvas. If you want to cahnge the canvas background color, click on the empty space of the canvas, and then press the circled buttons as follows.
