The BMW E30 is the second generation of BMW 3 Series, which was produced from 1982 to 1994 and replaced the E21 3 Series. The model range included 2-door saloon (sometimes referred to as a coupé) and convertible body styles, [4][5] as well as being the first 3 Series to be produced in 4-door saloon and wagon/estate body styles. The BMW 325i was first introduced as a variant of the E30 BMW 3 Series.
Introduced for the 1986 model year, the 325i was powered by BMW's M20B25 engine, which was a 2.5L inline six unit. This engine produced around 170hp with power running to the rear wheels through manual or automatic transmissions. As one of the E30's most popular variants, the 325i was offered in coupe, sedan, convertible.
