I understand the complaints about no fuel gauge, but I went through that whole thing with a former 2008 R1200R and the faulty fuel strips. I can get by without a gauge. My question is to current owners of the R12 and if you experiences any faulty tech issues with the bike?
Very murky and grey but dry! BMW, in their infinite wisdom, decided not to put a fuel gauge on the bike, so I had a bit of fun (not) trying to work out the range of the bike, using the trip counter.
I have the new 2024 BMW R12 cruiser on order (in black, with spoke wheels and comfort package, almost like on the picture). Can't wait to get it! But Is it true the little screen does not show a fuel gauge? How do you know how much gas you have left then? 😳.
