Once a quarter, they schedule Shop-day Events, when members of the community can "shop" for a small entrance fee (usually $1.00 per family). Three Southern California Conference (SCC) churches hosted God's Closet ministries on their campuses in 2023: Berean, Pasadena, and Sunland-Tujunga churches.

God's Closet chapters collect gently used children's clothing throughout the year and host free shop days three to four times per year. On each shop day, hundreds of children are served. Hope's Closet is a community of volunteers, donors, staff, and board members who believe childhood should be hopeful, regardless of circumstance.

We work together to provide quality clothes and essentials, fun experiences, and loving support for foster children and foster parents. Open Wednesdays 12 pm - 7 pm God's Closet is a simple yet powerful ministry: Collect clothes all year long and invite families and individuals to attend the quarterly shop days to shop for free!
