Use a shop vacuum to suck up large particles, then follow up by damp-mopping the entire surface with clean water. This removes fine dust particles that can linger in the grain. You should aim for a surface that is visually clean and free of any particulate matter before moving to the next step.

Final Sealing for Long-Term Protection

This sealer penetrates the porous grout, repelling water, oils, and stains. In a high-traffic area like a bathroom or kitchen, sealing prevents the grout from darkening and inhibits the growth of mold and mildew.
