Bruno's repairs both the final drive splines and the driveshaft splines. They also install a cup inside the driveshaft so that the lube does not get pushed into the body of the driveshaft. It keeps all the lube on the splines.

Hansen's BMW in Oregon repairs the final drive splines but requires you to purchase a new driveshaft from BMW. Hi Guys I have a final drive for a k75 which has a ratio of 11/34 the ratio of my r80 rt was 11/37 and my current bike K100rs needs a final drive can have a ratio of 11/32 or 33 the k75 has a diffrent number of splines making the two non-compatable. 6 Re: K100 final drive for a K75? Note: The following sequences of work were gathered from Clymer Manual M500-3 - BMW K-Series 1985-1997, Chapter 11, Rear Suspension and Final Drive ©2002 and from BMW Repair Manual K75 - K100 LT All 2V Models, Chapter 33, Rear Wheel Drive, dated: 4.1988 / scann: 12.2011 (BMW p/n: 01 51 9 798 791). K75 motors are known to be indestructible with the only extra step owners having to take is to keep the rear splines lubed on the final drive that connects with the drive shaft. Lubricate the splines every 12 months or 3,000 miles and change the oil and you'll get 150,000 miles out of the bike without any issues.
