Bmw R1200gs Handlebar Diameter

For the ET2016 next week I've rented a BMW-R1200-GS and need to know if my RAM MOUNT RAM-B-231ZU will fit the handlebar. If anyone has an experience with that product on that model, or could tell me the diameter of the handlebar near the grips - it will be a great help. Thanks, Amnon.

Seems like the GS bars are different per year and per model. So, with that said, I measured my OEM bars between at the triple clamp and it is (1 1/10 inches). I assume it is 1 1/8 inches after the bar.

I would like a different shape handlebar for my 2016 R1200GS. Anyone know who might be making bars to fit? You might try Flanders or Pro Taper. The issue will be whether you can find the correct metric diameter rather than the US 7/8" and 1" stuff.
