Koala's alternative provision offers those who cannot access a traditional learning environment, the opportunity to excel. We offer tutoring, mentoring, teaching support and our two learning programmes; Distance and Hybrid Learning. Our initial intake will be 6 on our distance learning and 6 on our. The launch of the Koala Community Hub, in June 2021, saw the creation of a true community 'one stop shop' that will not only provide a learning environment for those children and young people who cannot cope in mainstream but will also facilitate the empowerment and authentic connections for neurodivergent people in our community. Third time lucky maybe. Um we learning without walls was and as you know we're trying to well we are going to be opening Koala Academy. Um hopefully next year.
And as part of that we thought to ourselves we that kind of sits in between the community hub and the academy. So we thought to ourselves what can we do? Imagine hubs, like Koala, all over the UK where autistic people can seek connection and also access health and social care professionals.
