ARTIST ROOMS is a collection of modern and contemporary art. Established in 2008, the collection includes major bodies of work by more than 40 international artists. The guiding principle is to show the work of each artist in dedicated solo exhibitions.

ARTIST ROOMS is a touring collection of over 1,600 works of modern and contemporary art. Jointly owned by the National Galleries of Scotland and Tate, the collection is displayed across the UK. Artist Rooms is a touring collection of international modern and contemporary art in the United Kingdom, established through the d'Offay donation in 2008.
[1] Comprising over 1,500 works by 42 artists, it is owned by National Galleries Scotland and Tate which care for the collection together and arrange for its presentation throughout the UK in. Tate commissioned us develop a framework and supporting toolkit with resources to capture the impact of the new form of Artist Rooms. This framework will enable a better understanding of audiences, thedevelopmental impact on the touring exhibition for partners and provide Tate with insights to further develop this new model of packaged touring exhibitions.
