Louisiana sludge legends Acid Bath have been on historic live campaign, taking on a succession of festival and headlining dates their first in neary three decades.

After almost 30 years, Acid Bath returns to the stage - and their sleazy, swaggering take on sludge metal remains as vital and commanding as ever. Downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota was bustling with life on a beautiful Saturday evening. Outside The Fillmore, a line had already started forming early in the evening and from that moment on, anticipation was sky-high.

With their name wrapped around the marquee, the return of the legendary Acid Bath was officially underway in Minnesota. Acid Bath began where the Earth ends, deep in the swamp of the Louisiana bayou. Formed in 1991, the band's sound blended elements of Southern gothic, psychedelic rock, sludge and death metal, with lyrics invoking surreal, pagan and psycho imagery.
