Fox Kashima Color Difference

I've dug around a bit, but I haven't had any luck finding additional components that would perfectly match the kashima coatings found on Fox's forks and droppers. Has anyone ever seen other kashima-colored (or coated) pedals, stems, hubs, chains, chainrings, bolts, etc? Fox has the craziest variance in kashima color.

Did a shuttle last week and all 4 of us had Fox 38s with different gradients of Kashima from dark bronze to faded bronze. Kashima coat color differences between fork/shock in Fox Racing Shox. Do we possess the ability to outright and automatically know and can we feel a certain smoothness, plushness, and frictionless stroke of a suspension fork's travel? Is it discernable enough to justify paying for the difference in the more expensive Kashima Coat versus FOX's Performance series or forks with their hard anodized black surface.

No! before a big change on my bike I had 2012 fox float kashima fork and kash RP23 I fitted a kmc x10SL chain also! Kashima 2012 onwards gold is much darker almost bronze. The kmc chain is. The color of the metal before, the porosity of the metal's surface, and the depth of those pores affects the Kashima Coating's color.

The color of the fork stanchions in the CTD era was sort of an alu gold, and the shocks from the same era were sometimes a grey color. Copper/Bronze is a really cool looking color. If you're after Kashima gold, this is the color we would say most closely matches the gold of fox rear shocks therefore it is darker than Kashima on forks.

****SPECIAL NOTE**** Bronze is the most thin color layer. While it looks rad, it is the easiest to scratch and is prone to discoloring. So keep that in mind when ordering Bronze.

Is Kashima Worth It? You might be in the market for a new bike and couldn't help but notice the shiny gold coating on high-end fox suspension. Kashima coating comes on only the best Fox Suspension and these only come on the nicest bikes. Is the hype and added cost worth it, or is Kashima coding just a marketing gimmick?
