How I Work

I take into consideration biological, psychological, spiritual and social factors effecting mental health. I tailor what I offer to the patient.  This includes what needs you present and what fits you individually. I work to make the most of a patient’s strengths.  I use various clinical interventions which may include: counseling, psychoeducation, behavioral and cognitive-behavioral treatments, play therapy for children, support for medication referral , brief and long term psychodynamic psychotherapy or analytic therapy.

My work is developmentally informed and influenced particularly by attachment theory, object-relations and Jungian thought. I recognize the importance of one’s early experience and its effect on current functioning.
