does anyone use the BMW fuel additive that comes in a little blue 3-ounce bottle? All times are GMT. New to te diesel world here. I know BMW recommends against using any kind of diesel additive, but I've hear a lot of people using them.

Is it really helpful to pour in some additive and if so, how often and what brand? The BMW fuel additive is made by Chevron. So it's cheaper to buy the larger bottle of Techron fuel additive for the same price or cheaper than what BMW charges.
