Theatre Royal Bath - Venue 4 has received planning and listed building consent. Venue 4 is a new community theatre located on St John's Place and will serve as the home for the Theatre's Engage adult participation programme and provide a dynamic space for local residents to create, rehearse and perform new shows. Planned as a 40-seat, intimate, fringe-style venue, complete with its own.
Theatre Royal Bath has received planning permission for Venue 4, a brand-new community studio theatre for the public on St John's Place. Subject to a fundraising campaign, Venue 4 will be a new home for Theatre Royal Bath's Engage adult participation programme and offer a range of opportunities for local people wishing to create new shows, rehearse or perform in front of an audience. Engage and Achieve Together run a free theatre group at Poolemead House in Twerton.
Achieve Together is one of the UK's leading providers of support for people with learning disabilities, autism, PMLD, deafness, hearing loss and associated complex needs. Share Engage: Adult Engagement at Theatre Royal Bath Following our epic launch with a production of BEN HUR and a community company of 350 in Theatre Royal Bath's Main House way back in 2010, we have worked with over 20,000 people through a variety of activities aimed at creating a deeper understanding, and love of, theatre. Engage masterclasses offer access to inspiring creatives at the top of their game.
Whatever your level of experience, these one-day courses will explore what's possible and build your knowledge. Led by Kath Montagu - Senior Lecturer in Theatre, Festival and Event Production/ Stage Management at Bath Spa University, and Producer of Notting Hill Carnival at Glastonbury Festival. This one.
As promised, first up we have: ENGAGE: Acting Led by the extraordinary Sophie Cottle these sessions are open to EVERYONE aged 18+. Whether you're a beginner or seasoned pro, these weekly acting classes will look at different approaches to being an actor, craft & technique. 7pm - 9pm Wednesday evenings at The Egg Theatre, Bath.
